Norm Gilsdorf Appointed President of Honeywell Process Solutions
Honeywell announced the appointment of Norman "Norm" Gilsdorf as president of Honeywell Process Solutions. Gilsdorf was formerly vice president and general manager of the Process Solutions business in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He replaces Jack Bolick, who retired from Honeywell after 10 years of service, including six years as president of Honeywell Process Solutions. Read more.

Honeywell UK Receives 2008 Contractor of the Year Award
Honeywell's Bracknell Instrumentation Service Team in the UK was recently presented the 2008 Contractor of the Year Award by a biosciences customer’s head of engineering and facilities. "Honeywell's on-site support and help with the troubleshooting issues that on a number of occasions would have caused delays with production, was very much appreciated by the customer. In one particular instance, process problems on an autoclave that occurred late one evening were addressed, enabling the batch to complete within the 24 hour window allowed. The batch consisted of over 400 vials of a key medial diagnostic agent. The customer would have failed to get the required products to at least 400 patients on time if the Honeywell team had not made themselves available at very short notice."
