Honeywell’s Blend Management provides an integrated information environment that supports the collection, storage and analysis of finished products blending information. This integrated information environment is used to improve the blend planning, stock utilization, performance monitoring and finished product release functions. Data is gathered from various external (source) systems, such as blend planning tools, blend controllers, lab systems, and process data historians. Blend Management turns data from these disparate systems into valuable information that supports management decisions on the overall tuning of the blending process and blending component production.

The integration of blending data provides the opportunity for continuous improvement of blend planning and operations, and increased profitability. Blend Management is designed to be the primary tool for overall blend process stewardship. Analysis of the integrated blend data leads to the identification and elimination of variability in the blending process; reduction in variability allows a refiner to close the gap between product specifications and product release limits, thereby reducing quality giveaway across all blends
