Optimal plant performance requires timely and accurate data to make the right operating decisions. Honeywell’s Uniformance® PHD provides a rich, flexible environment for the collection, storage and analysis of process data.
PHD’s collector/shadow architecture allows data to be gathered from disparate control systems and other data sources into a unified database for long-term storage. A PHD database may be centrally configured and managed, gathering data from many systems including Honeywell's Experion® PKS and TPS, OPC Servers, and other third-party sources. This data is “shadowed” into a single centralized database, allowing engineers and plant management to analyze performance of the entire operation from a single location.
PHD provides the security and reliability to ensure the data is available when it is needed. Robust data collection ensures speedy fail-over to a secondary collector upon loss of a primary. Uniformance System Monitor ensures notification of support personnel, and often automates corrective actions when potentially problematic software conditions are detected.
