Certified Recycled Parts

Honeywell Process Solutions’ commitment to best-in class lifecycle support is exemplified in the Certified Recycled Parts program.  Its mission is to provide the hard-to-find parts needed to maintain systems and productivity.

What are “Certified” Recycled Parts?

Certified recycled parts are not new, but parts acquired from customers and factory surplus. These parts go through a certification process to validate functionality.  In most cases, the equipment has been previously used and decommissioned.

We can meet or BEAT any competitor’s written quote on the parts you need.  Contact us today.

Warranty

Honeywell provides a one year, pro-rated warranty on all certified recycled parts.  We reserve the right to replace the product or credit the pro-rated value of the product.

Certification Process

The Certified Recycled Parts business is staffed with veteran engineers and technicians who execute Honeywell’s certification process.  The certification process is made up of four diagnostic and burn tests.

To attain certification a board or part must pass four key tests:

  1. Low level test Green light/Power up
    • This is a first level inspection to verify that board powers up and executes a successful self-test
  2. Run the Hardware Verification Test System (HVTS) if applicable
    • The HVTS validates the function of the hardware components on the board
  3. Load/Run system software
    • Software is loaded to ensure successful interaction of the board with other Honeywell hardware & software in the system
    • Once the board system software test is complete, the software is removed
    • Note: Certified Recycled Parts from Honeywell does not supply software
  4. Burn in, Min 24hrs, Usually 3-5 days
    • Verifies extended operability and exposes any thermal and/or throughput problems

If a board or part fails any of the certification tests, it is discarded.  Only boards and parts passing the certification process are offered for sale.
