900 Control Station

The 900 Control Station touch screen operator interface is the ideal solution for locally managing processes that are controlled by HC900 controllers. The interface offers displays for both managing your process and supervising the operation of your controllers. Designed to work together, this combination allows data acquired by the controller to be viewed, analyzed, stored and exported by the station. Pre-built display widgets, matched to controller function blocks, are included to simplify setup and allow viewing and changing of controller setpoints, functions and actions.

Configuration of the 900 Control Station is performed using software called 900 Station Designer. With this software, the configuration task is greatly simplified through an import facility that allows the software to directly read a controller configuration file. The software automatically assigns controller system displays to the menus of the interface for communication ports, I/O, CPU performance, diagnostics and I/O calibrations. Creating displays is also simplified by dragging tag named items from a resource pane created by the import facility onto display object dialogs to bind the display object to its data source. There is no need to look up register addresses or cryptic index locations to identify data sources.

The 900 Control Station Operator Interface provides a large assortment of standard preformatted displays and widgets for function blocks such as PID loops, setpoint programmers, setpoint schedulers, sequencers and others. The use of preformatted displays and widgets shortens design time, reduces engineering costs and facilitates standardization of operator interaction with the process.
