HONEYWELL APPOINTS SAMUEL WU REGIONAL GENERAL MANAGER OF PROCESS SOLUTIONS BUSINESS, GREATER CHINA

Wu Brings Rich Industry Knowledge and Customer-Focused Management Experience to the Position

BEIJING, March 1, 2009 – Honeywell (NYSE:HON) today announced the appointment of Samuel Wu as regional general manager of Honeywell Process Solutions, mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.

“Sam brings proven leadership and experience to our already strong business in China,” said Jon Lippin, vice president and general manager of Honeywell Process Solutions, Asia Pacific. “Under Sam’s leadership, the China team will be keenly focused on understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that drive business results in this challenging economy.”

Wu began his career with GE, where he served in various leadership roles with increasing responsibility for more than 15 years. Wu’s notable roles with GE include Asia Region Manager, Control Solutions, where he worked closely with customers and a United States-based team to drive the company’s localization strategy, regional growth initiatives and acquisition of Xin Hua Controls. Most recently before joining Honeywell, Wu worked as Regional General Manager of GE Energy Optimization and Controls Greater China, while retaining concurrent responsibilities as President and CEO of Xin Hua Control Solutions.

Wu holds a bachelor of science degree in thermal energy engineering from Tsinghua University (Beijing, China), a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Nebraska--Lincoln and a master’s degree in management information systems from DeVry University’s Keller Graduate School of Management.
