Microsoft - Security Updates
The intent of this section is to provide the latest information regarding Microsoft Security Updates as they pertain to the various Honeywell product lines. Honeywell will assess and monitor all security threats as they relate to Honeywell products and bring attention to threats that could potentially have impact.

Honeywell understands that there are many independent organizations that research, analyze and assess security vulnerabilities, trends, and issues, and that often, these organizations will publish results that demonstrate vulnerabilities in a vendor's code that can be compromised through various means. These results can be published before a vendor can develop a patch or hotfix to secure the vulnerability. Honeywell will respond only to those vulnerabilities published by Microsoft where a Security Update has been identified. Once that Update has been made available by Microsoft, they will generally post an Update availability notification and release it. Honeywell's goal is to qualify the Update(s) within 7 days of the Microsoft release notification date. Specific Node Qualification Detail can be found on the right in Related Links.

Finally, we continue to highly value your continued partnership with Honeywell. In that regard, to help insure that this site meets, as much as possible, your needs, we have incorporated an email link in the right navigation for your feedback.
Microsoft Non-Security Updates
This section covers Microsoft Non-Security Updates.

Microsoft deploys both Non-Security and Security Updates. The non-security updates tend to involve platform and application interactions that can cross Honeywell application release version boundaries. Some non-security updates may also contain application “roll-ups” or functionality targeted to a later Honeywell release of a given application, but that could break current software in the field, introduce performance degradation, unintended behavior, or other unknown consequences. Therefore, non-security updates are generally not qualified unless they address and correct issues specific to a Honeywell product.

The non-security updates posted in this section have been qualified for use as corrective actions to address specific issues that have been identified as potentially impactive to the Honeywell platform/application it has been released against. Please refer to the update description for details and the specific data sheet associated with the update for additional comments and system applicability.

NOTE: You must be logged in to see these updates. If you do not currently have access to this site, please click the “Contact Honeywell Process Solutions” link under the “Contact Us” heading on the main “Microsoft Non-Security Updates” page and request access. You must be a current SE&SP contract customer to be granted access.
