Q. Does Honeywell provide services to install and service its Kits & Enhancements?A. Yes, Honeywell is available to help our existing customers throughout the entire process. We will make recommendations for the best upgrade/migration path for your IT infrastructure, install the new hardware, and support it for over the course of your ownership.
Q. Where do customers purchase replacement parts?A. Some replacement parts are available directly on the Honeywell ACS website. To access our full range of replacement parts, contact your Honeywell account manager. They will direct you to the right person who can assist with your parts needs.
Q. Are all Kits & Enhancements backwards compatible?A. While most Kits & Enhancements are backwards compatible, it is best to check with your Honeywell Account manager to see if your platform is backward compatible.
Q. Do any discount agreements apply to upgrades or migrations?A. MPA, SAA or Blanket Discount agreements frequently differentiate by product line and may be applied only to the Upgrade Price List. No discount shall exceed the SESP Value price. Discounts cannot be applied to the SESP price.
Q: What is Honeywell’s trade-in policy?A. All product offerings in Kits & Enhancements are for the benefit of our current installed base. They are not intended for system expansions or new projects, which is an abuse of the K&E objective. To qualify and receive upgrades, customers must exchange the product they are upgrading or replacing, whether or not it is in working condition.
Q. Is the Experion platform a mandatory upgrade?A. No, it is not a mandatory. You can choose to invest in our existing TotalPlant System, which we continue to evolve, or in the Experion platform, which offers the flexibility, functionality and power to accelerate your process control performance. We are heavily investing in Experion to deliver our customers the most advanced control system available on the market. Our upgrade and migration services are being offered to provide you with a clear path to Experion so your company can take advantage of a new level of superior performance and control.
