Design and Implement

Following an assessment or as part of a new installation, a detailed design and implementation should be conducted to ensure it is done right and there are no surprises.  Honeywell has a comprehensive set of methodologies to transform the plant’s technical and operational requirements into a secure, open systems ready solution. Through discussions with stakeholders and translating business application requirements into solution requirements, Honeywell helps to ensure that the network infrastructure and its ongoing support will be aligned with your business requirements.  Design and implementation services are primarily offered in: Process Control Network (PCN) Architecture - This service offers a comprehensive set of methodologies that help document the plant’s physical network infrastructure and application requirements while providing various architectural options to consider. Honeywell provides a document describing all customer requirements inventoried, a high level architecture design describing the architecture as it should be installed, and an implementation and migration plan describing the activities necessary to move to the improved architecture. Wireless - Honeywell’s PCN wireless design is a detailed design based on both spectrum analysis and practical testing on site. Honeywell provides a detailed report including network topology drawings and verified specific device locations required for implementation. Material and resources to install and configure are included in the implementation. Data Recovery - This service provides a detailed design of the data recovery plan. The design includes a list of all software, plus any required software necessary to implement the design, along with detailed descriptions on how to configure and use the data recovery infrastructure. The data recovery assessment documents your needs, an analysis of your requirements, including adherence to policies and regulations. The result of the implementation service is a fully functional data recovery infrastructure, which can be turned over to your process control group, IT department or to contracted Honeywell service professionals.
