OneWireless Gauge Reader

OneWireless Gauge ReaderRemotely monitor your gauges and improve uptime, safety and the efficiency of your employees.

Take advantage of our limited special offer:

Honeywell is offering free installation for all United States orders over 10 units received by the end of September. Contact us for details.

Honeywell’s OneWireless™ Gauge Reader non-invasively clips to the front face of existing gauges to enable remote monitoring of gauge readings. Installation takes minutes and does not require removing old gauges, breaking pressure seals, performing leak checks, running wires or interrupting the underlying process. Adapters are available to fit most size and type of manual gauges for pressure, temperature, vacuum and other measurements.

In older manufacturing plants, hundreds or thousands of manual gauges monitor a variety of parameters related to equipment health, consumables usage or non real-time process variables. Many of these are important to the overall plant uptime, yield and throughput. However, many are not systematically monitored, trended or alarmed in real-time. Abnormal situations may remain undetected, leading to unsafe conditions, unplanned downtime or asset degradation. And, manual monitoring makes it difficult to accurately track and optimize resource usage.

The OneWireless Gauge Reader dramatically reduces the cost, time and disruption necessary to automate gauge monitoring and integrates seamlessly with the OneWireless architecture for scalability and compatibility with future wireless standards.

Benefits include:

  • Improved asset management and uptime - More frequent monitoring and trending of parameters enable earlier detection, notification and correction of issues.
  • Faster troubleshooting - Historical data helps to quickly pinpoint time and related events leading to failures.
  • Energy savings - Monitors high energy consuming areas (such as compressed air systems) for optimal operation/pressures: not too high to waste energy, but not too low to affect process.
  • Energy audits - Gather baseline energy consumption data (such as steam, chiller or air handler temperature and flow) quickly and non-invasively.
  • Reduced consumables usage - Monitor gas cylinders and change them out at the right time to optimize usage and avoid running out of gas.
  • Better yield/quality - Feed more extensive data into statistical process control models or advanced control models for reduced variation and improved quality/yield.
  • Safer and more efficient employees - Redeploy employees from reading gauges to more critical tasks and minimize the need to go to hazardous or remote locations. In addition, ensure that tanks and cylinders are at a safe pressure.
