CIU Plus/CIU Prime

Honeywell Enraf’s CIU Prime is the interface between tank gauging instruments on bulk liquid storage tanks and computer systems in the tank farm control room. The main task of the CIU Prime is scanning and data acquisition from all tank gauges. All measured data is scanned continuously and stored in a real-time database that can be accessed by higher level computer systems. Up to 50 tanks can be monitored by one CIU Prime and multiple units can be used for larger applications. The CIU Plus is a standalone unit for bulk storage tank inventory calculations used in combination with the CIU Prime. Complex and specialized real-time inventory calculations can run independently in the CIU Plus for fast availability of inventory information.
