Entis Pro is a highly reliable, field-proven inventory management system for custody transfer operations and Weights and Measures approved reporting. Entis Pro can provide all the measured and calculated data needed for a tank farm, regardless of size and provides an easy and flexible environment to manage your storage terminal and products. Open architecture Entis Pro is a unique tank inventory management system. It interfaces smoothly at different system layers and provides host communication with almost any third-party package. Local and wide-area networking are both possible via Ethernet or Token Ring. Use of standard TCP/IP makes hardware selection and installation easy and affordable. Wireless and fiber optic communication can be seamlessly integrated. Real-time inventory Entis Pro is a native multitasking Windows XP and Windows 7 based application. Data is retrieved via dedicated Communication Interface Units (CIU Prime and CIU Plus) and processed through to the open Entis Pro inventory database. A myriad of different screens are available for inventory management. These include bar graphs, tabular details, iconized tanks and a complete range of optional modules such as trending, report printing and tank calculator. Numerical and graphical displays Both numerical and graphical displays are available. All the data shown in the numerical displays is high resolution, accurate and can be customized to meet specific needs. The graphical displays provide a quick overview of tank status. Several graphical interfaces are also available and the tank images can be customized per tank if required. Intuitive operation Entis Pro has a logical user interface for easy operation. A change of color in the tank display immediately informs the operator whether the tank is being filled or emptied. Operation effectiveness increased after standardizing on the Entis Pro inventory management system. Easy templates give a quick overview of all important data and the standard available default templates can be easily modified according the operator needs or site policy. Data scanning and calculation Sophisticated data scanning in the CIU Prime and intelligent calculating in the CIU Plus provide Entis Pro with real-time inventory data. The inventory calculations are certified API and ASTM compliant and approved by the NMI. A reliable alarm system In addition to the alarm contacts in the field instruments, Entis Pro offers an array of programmable alarm set points. Privileged users can create their own alarms for all measured or calculated data. Alarm avalanches, where one failure leads to an inundation of vague messages, are prevented. During inactive periods, tanks can be put into leak detection mode. This leak alarm uses the temperature corrected volume to make sure that temperature variations do not mislead the system. Alarms and acknowledgments, together with all tank information, are recorded and stored for future review and traceability. Hot standby and redundancy The Entis Pro system can be enhanced for use in critical applications with hot standby and redundancy support. Redundancy support can even cover the unlikely event of a network failure, providing increased data availability.
