Terminal Manager

Honeywell's Terminal Manager integrates with the Experion Process Knowledge System (PKS) platform and other Honeywell solutions to provide an integrated terminal automation solution. The feature-rich Terminal Manager is Honeywell's answer for critical issues facing bulk liquid terminals. such as complexity in handling multiple products, regulatory requirements and the accentuated need for terminal safety, productivity and improved throughput.

The Terminal Manager server is the heart of the terminal automation system, performing all key monitoring and controlling functions of the terminal, such as product receiving, gate access control and loading operations.

Terminal Manager delivers the following benefits:

  • Improve Productivity – Automates transactions in a terminal by collecting and storing all terminal status and activity information. Important data is never missed and is more reliable with events and alarms stored in Experion.
  • Reduce Inventory - Tighter control and demand monitoring allows inventory to be optimized through automated measurement and loading. Free storage space may also be possible as more reliable monitoring and alarming allow operators to operate tanks closer to capacity.
  • Reduce Losses - Increased monitoring capabilities reduce the frequency of spill incidents. Automatic permissive inputs stop the loading process before the incident can happen. Notification of upcoming events gives operating personnel time to react and avoid potential problems
  • Information Integration - Data is collected from various systems but presented to the operator in a common user interface and stored as a common record. The user interface is intuitive, easy to navigate and user-friendly
  • Flexibility - Built upon industry standard Microsoft Windows technology and communicates to any OPC-compliant distributed control system
