Honeywell’s Lab Data Integrator (LDI) software application integrates data from any laboratory information management system (LIMS) into Honeywell’s Uniformance^® system, and provides enterprise-wide access to lab data. LDI improves plant operational efficiency through timely access to quality data for production management, product quality, advanced process control (APC), performance monitoring, and other essential functions. It also leverages investments already made in LIMS products and reduces IT support costs.

LDI is ideally suited for plants that already have a LIMS package, and for situations in which integrating lab data with other business systems is important.

Typical LDI uses include importing:

• Quality test result data, on/off spec data, and sample information into Uniformance.
• Test result data into the PHD, the real-time historian that distributes data to the DCS.
• Quality test data required by other Uniformance applications such as Production Accounting.
• Quality test data for use in Uniformance desktop tools.
