Integrating an XYR 5000 database into the TPS system using the standard SI-FTA Modbus communication requires extensive effort, time, and investments by our TDC customers to perform the Modbus mapping and programming.  To eliminate these costs and frustrations Honeywell has developed a new Gateway and Gateway application (SI-FTA) that enables recognition of the XYR transmitters by the Honeywell TDC/TPS system.   Setup, receipt and presentation of data collected from the XYR Base Radio by the control system is completed with minimal effort. 

A custom SI-FTA module addresses the XYR Base Radio Modbus Interface and uploads the XYR’s database into the Control system so the TDC system for presentation and monitoring of the XYR transmitters remotely. XYR transmitters are wirelessly connected to the Base Radio.
