DCP200 Programmer

The DCP200 is a microprocessor-based 1/4 DIN programmer/controller that supports up to 64 program profiles with up to 255 segments. The LCD graphic display provides an easy to read display that includes true text messages. The DCP200 provides a universal input and a program profiler for one loop of control with flexible output options.

The DCP200 provides a typical accuracy of 0.1% of full range, flexible plug-in option cards providing up to nine outputs for control and alarming and an optional USB port for uploading or downloading configurations and process data. Typical applications include heat treatment, environmental chamber control, and controlling sterilizers and dryers.

Benefits

  • Single LCD dual color display provides real text messaging that reduces the risk of errors, and dual-color backlighting can provide a clear indication of an alarm condition so immediate action can be taken
  • More accurate control and increased productivity
  • Advance set point profile control with the ability to freely use 255 segments in up to 64 different programs
  • Universal inputs and universal power help minimize the customer’s in-house stock
  • Fully configurable from a PC to save time in setting up and configuring the controller/programmer
  • Optional RS485 or Ethernet Modbus communications allow increased access to plant information, providing increased plant productivity
  • Flexible output options to precisely match the requirements of the process include Relay, SSR Driver, Triac and Linear DC outputs
  • Optional recording function that allows a user to record process data in a CSV (comma separated variable) format for later analysis and documentation of process conditions
  • Initial purchase price is reduced because you only order (and pay) for the options required for your application
  • Small 1/4 DIN size saves panel space and installation cost
  • The ability to record process data adds flexibility to do process improvements without needing a separate recorder to acquire data

 Features

  • Moisture resistant front face meets IP66 (IP65 with USB connector) for protection against dust and water intrusion
  • With configuration software you can easily create profiles, save them to your PC and download them to the programmer
  • Accepts 12 different types of thermocouples, 100Ω Pt or 120Ω Ni RTDs, current and volt linear inputs, all inputs are configurable as standard
  • Can operate on any line voltage from 90 Vac to 264 Vac at 50/60 Hz continuously, 24/48 Vac/dc model is available as an option
  • Up to nine outputs for time and current proportioning, duplex mode (heat/cool), PV or SP retransmission and events
  • Five soft event alarms on PV high, low, deviation, rate of change and sensor break, a special loop alarm is also provided to detect faults in the control loop by continuously analyzing the PV response to the control output
  • Real-time clock to start at a certain predetermined time
  • For critical applications, the DCP200 allows you to select the response after a power failure--either a cold start (return to local set point) or a hot start (resume from the point where power failed)
  • Guaranteed soak feature allows the profile to sense if the PV is in range of the end of a ramp before starting a soak
  • Digital inputs provide the facility for selecting local or alternate set point, auto or manual mode, enabling or disabling control outputs
