Procedure Analyst: FAQs

Q: Are reports pre-configured in the Procedure Analyst system, or do they need to be created individually?
A: Procedure Analyst includes pre-configured reports for common activities including procedure reports and equipment utilization. The reports can be further configured to meet site-specific formats.

Q: Can process trends for an executing procedure be compared to historical results?
A: Yes. Procedure Analyst provides a trend tool to compare a running procedure to past execution results or to a golden procedure execution.

Q: Can a Procedure Analyst system support more than one server?
A: Yes. Procedure Analyst provides support for multiple servers with a single event processor.

Q: Is process event information available in Procedure Analyst?
A: Procedure Analyst supports Procedure History, Continuous History and Experion PKS Alarm and Event History.

Q: Can a procedure be designated as golden?
A: Procedure Analyst allows the user to designate any procedure execution as golden.  The golden execution can then be compared with other execution results or with the currently executing procedure for comparison and analysis.

Q: Can material overcharges and undercharges be tracked?
A: Procedure Analyst provides a standard report to track material usage over a user-specified time period. This includes details on each batch or procedure execution and summary information.

Q:  Does Procedure Analyst require Uniformance/PHD?
A: Procedure Analyst leverages the Uniformance PHD system for continuous history.
