ASSAY2™ is a crude oil evaluation and selection application that helps refiners to make the right decisions about buying, selling, or trading crude oil. Refinery planners can use ASSAY2 with confidence to prepare planning and scheduling assessments, to organize both strategic and short-range plans, and to generate input for linear programming (LP) models. These decisions are more critical than ever, as geopolitical considerations and stringent business competition increase pressure on achieving or sustaining profitability.

ASSAY2 allows blending of crude oils, and breaking up of crude or composite into fractions. Then, the yield and quality data developed for the crude fractions can be integrated into Honeywell's RPMS or other commercially available modeling systems.  ASSAY2 consists of one or more crude assay libraries, a series of calculation processors, a crude selection and reporting facility, and a graphics module.
