DOC3000, the predecessor to Honeywell's DOC4000, is a comprehensive software package that provides consistent and accurate system documentation for Honeywell's TDC3000 and TPS control systems.
In March 2006, Honeywell released DOC4000, which replaced DOC3000. New customers wanting DOC3000 capability for their automation systems can now purchase the TPS-enabled version of DOC4000. For customers with small TPS systems (e.g. 1-2 LCNs), there is also a lower cost DOC4000 Express version that is restricted to 1 LCN per license.
With the release of DOC4000, Honeywell and PAS agreed continue to support and maintain DOC3000 through March 2008. Through this date, existing DOC3000 customers can continue to purchase tag expansions, additional modules, as well as upgrade to the latest 3.8.07 release. However, DOC3000 users are encouraged to migrate to the TPS-enabled version of DOC4000 as an entitlement of their DOC3000 product support under Honeywell’s SESP/BGP program.
