Business Justification to Attend Honeywell Users Group Symposium

The business benefits of attending Users Group include:

1. Hands-on activity with the latest technology. Product sessions, simulations and demonstrations allow you to experience “technology in action.” If your site has specific procurement plans or decision-making needs involving new solutions or new releases, you can evaluate capabilities and learn how to more effectively implement for results.

2. Slick tricks and troubleshooting. Interact with Honeywell system and application consultants, TAC engineers, Automation College trainers and development engineers. Your organization can achieve immediate results from learning sessions and group discussions on technical functionality.

3. Fresh thinking from other Honeywell customers. Users Group attracts a broad spectrum of users with similar needs and experiences. Attendees are exposed to a full range of fresh ideas regarding implementation, application, expansion and work practices related to process automation solutions and advancements. The agenda is designed by users for users to ensure the content is pertinent across all process industries, job functions and geographies.

4. One-to-one discussions with Honeywell experts. Have in-depth discussions with specific Honeywell product experts, technology partners and industry leaders to address specific challenges, infrastructure implementation or need for additional functionality.

5. Future considerations. Brainstorming and discussions between users, technology providers, engineering firms and Honeywell keep attendees on the forefront of the latest issues and challenges in the process control industry. They help guide future decisions regarding your operations and attendee input helps shape Honeywell’s technical roadmap. It’s an opportunity to ensure that our R&D is spent in areas that will impact your business needs, today and into the future.

6. Earn CEU Credits. University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and Honeywell have entered into an agreement by which Continuing Education Units (CEUs) can be made available to individuals who attend and participate in Users Group Americas Symposium. Eligible participants will receive a certificate of completion and be provided information on how to receive CEUs through UNLV. CEUs do not constitute academic credit, but are maintained by UNLV as a permanent, nationally recognized record of professional improvement.

7. Free Training to Help Continue Your Education. In addition to the ability to earn CEU credits, customers will have opportunity to attend training courses offered by ISA, ASM Consortium and Honeywell's Automation College. These classes will provide opportunity to expand your knowledge and improve your productivity. These courses are included in the HUG registration fee and will be offered on Thursday, June 17 and Friday, June 18.

8. Connect and Collaborate with Peers from Around the World. Users Group attracts process automation end users, technology partners and experts from around the world. The program is designed to allow attendees to interact continuously with individuals that will help them to expand their knowledge base and competencies so they can put their learning into action when they return to their plant or mill.
