PHOENIX, Feb. 11, 2010 – Honeywell (NYSE:HON) has added universal input/output (I/O) transmitters to its family of XYR™ 6000 wireless products. The transmitters allow manufacturers to wirelessly monitor more plant points with fewer devices. HONEYWELL TAILORS SOLUTIONS TO HELP MANUFACTURERS COMPLY WITH NEW GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS REGULATION
PHOENIX, Nov. 18, 2009 – Honeywell (NYSE:HON) has introduced a set of tailored solutions to help process manufacturers comply with a new federal regulation that requires facilities to track and report greenhouse gas emissions. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulation will take effect Jan. 1, 2010 and applies to industrial facilities that emit more than 25,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent per year. It will mark the first time the EPA has required large emitters of heat-trapping emissions to begin collecting CO2 data.

HONEYWELL SELECTED BY VALORLY TO HELP INCREASE PRODUCTION OF RENEWABLE ENERGY GENERATED FROM WASTE
LISBON, Portugal, October 27, 2009 – Honeywell (NYSE:HON) today announced that its process control technology was selected by Valorly, a division of the French utility Suez Environnement, to help increase the amount of thermal and electrical energy Valorly generates from residential waste. The resulting renewable energy will help meet 2020 European Union (EU) commitments for heat and transport sector requirements. HONEYWELL TO AUTOMATE THE LARGEST GREEN DIESEL PLANT IN THE UNITED STATES
PHOENIX, Oct. 26, 2009 – Honeywell (NYSE:HON) today announced that Flambeau River Biofuels (FRB) has selected it to supply and integrate all automation equipment for the largest second-generation “green diesel” plant in the United States. The plant – located in Park Falls, Wis., and expected to be operational by 2012 – will produce energy, transportation fuels and chemicals from renewable biomass resources. Specifically, the plant will process 1,000 dry tons per day of woody biomass from bark, sawdust and residue typically burned after forest harvesting.
