HONEYWELL AGREES TO ACQUIRE GAS MEASUREMENT AND CONTROL LEADER RMG REGEL + MESSTECHNIK
BRUSSELS, June 25, 2009 – Honeywell (NYSE:HON) today announced it has signed a definitive agreement valued at approximately $400 million USD to acquire the RMG GROUP (RMG Regel + Messtechnik GmbH and all of its subsidiaries, together RMG) a Kassel, Germany-based global leader in natural gas measuring and control products, services and integrated solutions. RMG will be integrated into Honeywell Process Solutions, which is part of Honeywell’s Automation and Control Solutions business group. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.

HONEYWELL ENHANCES UNISIM DESIGN TO OFFER GREATER FLEXIBILITY FOR CREATING AND SIMULATING PLANT PROCESSES
PHOENIX, June 17, 2009 – Honeywell (NYSE:HON) today announced two key enhancements to its UniSim® Design simulation software that provide engineers a greater range of tools to build and test plant processes. The simulation and modeling software will include a flare analyzer that enables process engineers to design, improve and optimize industrial flare systems. Additionally, UniSim Design will support XML-based case portability to allow users to share process design information with ASPEN HYSYS®, HTFS and HTFS+ offered by AspenTech. HONEYWELL HELPS GROWING DEMAND FOR SOLAR PANEL TECHNOLOGY
PHOENIX, July 29, 2008 – Honeywell (NYSE:HON) announced it will design and install the core process and safety systems for a new plant under construction by Hoku Materials, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hoku Scientific, Inc. that is planned to produce polysilicon, a key material needed to produce solar panels. The solar power market is currently estimated to be a $10 billion business, with realistic potential to expand to $30 billion by 2010. Serving as the Integrated Main Automation Contractor (I-MAC) and sole automation equipment supplier, Honeywell will engineer a tightly integrated solution that will help the Pocatello, Idaho plant produce 3,500 tons of polysilicon per year. The system will include distributed control, batch management and safety technology.
