Executive Brings Track Record of Business Growth and Deep Regional Knowledge to Role
BRUSSELS, June 4, 2009 – Honeywell (NYSE:HON) today announced the appointment of Edwin van den Maagdenberg to vice president and general manager for Honeywell Process Solutions in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Van den Maagdenberg was formerly regional general manager for Process Solutions in Northern Europe. He replaces Norm Gilsdorf, who was promoted to president of Honeywell Process Solutions.

Van den Maagdenberg joined Honeywell Process Solutions in 1988 as a sales support engineer and has since held leadership positions in sales, project operations and general management. Van den Maagdenberg also worked for Vonk Systems* as sales manager for Middle East and Africa from 1996-1998.
Van den Maagdenberg holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Higher Technical College in Alkmaar, The Netherlands. He has also participated in Honeywell’s Advanced Management Program, Thunderbird Leadership Program, Management Development Program, and is Six Sigma Green Belt certified. Van den Maagdenberg is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
