Industry Publication Recognizes Profit Suite for Optimizing Plant Operations and Improving Business Results
PHOENIX, May 2, 2007 – Honeywell’s (NYSE: HON) Profit Suite™, the company’s signature advanced process control technology used to optimize industrial plant operations, has been honored with an Engineers’ Choice Award from Control Engineering magazine. Profit Suite was one of 40 products recognized for technological advancement, market impact and service to the industry.

The latest version of Profit Suite, R300, features an improved human-machine interface (HMI) display that gives operators greater insight into processes. It shows all Profit Suite components to provide a safe and configurable view of operations. Another new feature is the HMI Web APC Shape Library, which offers customizable shapes and scripts that allow greater flexibility in designing operator displays. The graphics are compliant with the Abnormal Situation Management® Consortium guidelines for effective alarm management and information display.
From an engineering perspective, Profit Suite R300 is easier than previous versions to deploy across any DCS, including non-Honeywell systems. It offers other enhancements that minimize engineering effort for plant testing and controller maintenance. Profit Suite R300 also features
several algorithmic enhancements to increase ease-of-use and improve multi-unit control and optimization of the most difficult plant problems.
