Clean Energy

Environmentally friendly sources of power and energy are described as Clean Energy. Typically, this refers to renewable and non-polluting energy sources. Clean Energy includes natural energetic processes that can be harnessed with little pollution. Clean Energy resources are characterized by their intermittency, low dependability, and low energy densities. Climate change concerns coupled with high oil prices, peak oil and increasing government support are driving increasing renewable energy legislation, incentives and commercialization of some of the emerging technologies.
