Norman L. Gilsdorf, Vice President/General Manager, EMEANorman L. Gilsdorf
President

Norman L. Gilsdorf is President of Honeywell Process Solutions. Previously he was Vice President/General Manager of the Honeywell Process Solutions business for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

At UOP, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Honeywell International Inc., Gilsdorf was the senior vice president and general manager of the Process Technology and Equipment business, which served the refining, petrochemical and gas processing industries.  Before that, he was responsible for UOP’s Catalysts, Adsorbents and Specialties business unit, and prior to that held various technical services, research and development, business development and marketing and sales roles. He joined UOP in 1977.

Gilsdorf has considerable global business experience. In addition to his role leading the Process Solutions business in EMEA, Gilsdorf spent five years working for UOP in the United Kingdom in various roles, where he served as director of sales and services across Europe, Middle East, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), India and Africa for the petrochemical industries. He also spent seven years in Moscow as director of sales and services for the CIS region, where he and his team helped launch UOP into Russia in the1990s.

Gilsdorf has a chemical engineering degree from Purdue University and an MBA in international business and finance from Northwestern University. He is based in Bracknell, United Kingdom.

Harsh Chitale
Vice President, Strategy and Global Marketing

Harsh Chitale is Vice President of Strategy and Global Marketing for Honeywell Process Solutions, responsible for strategy, business development and global marketing.

Chitale has had an impressive career with Honeywell in India in several leadership positions. He joined Tata Honeywell in 1994. In 1997, Chitale became the leader for the modular systems business in the Industrial Solutions division in India. From 1999-2001, he was responsible for strategy and business development for Tata Honeywell. In 2001 Chitale was named head of the Advanced Solutions business in India and in 2002, he became the Regional General Manager for Honeywell Process Solutions. In 2004, he was named managing director of Honeywell Automation India Limited.

Chitale has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from India Institute of Technology-Delhi.

Artur Czynczyk
Vice President, Human Resources

Artur Czynczyk is Vice President of Human Resources for Honeywell Process Solutions. Prior to assuming his current role, he was Human Resources Director for Honeywell Process Solutions EMEA, providing human resources leadership to more than 40 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Czynczyk joined Honeywell Process Solutions in 2004 as Human Resources Director for Central and Eastern Europe. Before joining Honeywell, he held human resources leadership positions at several companies including ABB, Lucent Technologies and Elektrim. Czynczyk was an assistant professor at the University of Warsaw from 1986-1994.

He has a Master’s degree in social sciences from the University of Warsaw. He is based in Phoenix, Arizona.

Jon Lippin, SalesJon Lippin
Vice President/General Manager, Asia Pacific

In January 2009 Jon Lippin was named Vice President/General Manager for Honeywell Process Solutions, Asia Pacific. Previously he was Vice President of Global Sales Operations. Prior to that role, he was the Global Business Leader for Honeywell’s Mining, Minerals & Metals segment, Vice President of the North American Solutions Business and Director of Solutions Consulting.

Lippin joined Honeywell in 1984 as an account manager and has held leadership roles in project operations, sales, business systems and estimating/technical consulting.

He received a bachelor’s degree in business management from Edison State College and is based in Shanghai, China.

Dan Lombardi
Vice President, Global Quality Assurance

Dan Lombardi is Vice President of Global Quality Assurance for Honeywell Process Solutions. Prior to assuming his current role, he was Vice President of Honeywell Shared Services.  He was responsible for delivering administrative and expert services in the areas of accounts payable, fleet management, HR information management, compensation and benefits, learning, payroll, employee assignment management, travel and meeting event management.

Lombardi has extensive cross-functional leadership experience in the high-tech, industrial and aerospace arenas. Before joining Honeywell in 2005, he held several senior leadership roles in shared services, manufacturing, quality and engineering disciplines with divisions of Motorola and United Technologies Corporation. His accomplishments include the successful startup and operation of two Greenfield aerospace manufacturing facilities, the turn around of a power conversion and battery fabrication plant, leadership of significant supply chain rationalization and improvement initiatives, and the effective transformation of a global shared services operation.   

Lombardi is Six Sigma Black Belt certified and holds a master's degree in operations management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering from the University of Hartford.  He is based in Phoenix, Arizona.

David Sanchez
Vice President/Chief Financial Officer

David Sanchez is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Honeywell Process Solutions. He joined Honeywell Process Solutions in 2008 and

brings 25 years of experience to the role, nearly 10 of which have been with Honeywell.  His most recent position was director of finance for the Honeywell Aerospace Air Transport and Regional business, where he played a critical role in the strategic guidance of the business in its continued achievement of long-term revenue and margin growth. Prior to that role, he was director of finance for the Honeywell Aerospace Engines, Systems and Services businesses and led strategic planning, daily operations, productivity initiatives and capital requirements. Before joining Honeywell, Sanchez held positions of increasing responsibility and leadership in the finance functions at Allied Signal and Chrysler. 

Sanchez has a Bachelor’s degree in economics from Youngstown State University in Ohio and a Master’s degree in economics from the University of Akron in Ohio. He is Six Sigma Black Belt certified. He is based in Phoenix, Arizona.

DonnaLee Skaggs, TechnologyDonnaLee Scaggs
Vice President, Technology

DonnaLee Scaggs is Vice President of Technology for Honeywell Process Solutions. She joined Honeywell Process Solutions in 2003 as Vice President/General Manager of Industrial Measurement and Control (IM&C), where she developed and successfully executed a strategy that enabled the business to get back on a robust growth path. 

Scaggs joined Honeywell’s Aerospace division in 1991. She was responsible for driving the strategy and implementation of Six Sigma across the former Aerospace Electronic System (AES) organization, a $4 billion business with more than 23,000 employees. During that role she also served as the interim AES Vice President of Integrated Supply Chain during the second half of 2002.

Prior to joining Honeywell, Scaggs held integrated supply chain leadership roles for both San Diego Gas and Electric and McCulloch Corporation. She has a bachelor's degree in business administration and psychology from Towson University near Baltimore, and an MBA from Western International University. She is based in Phoenix, Arizona.

Elizabeth Stairs
Vice President and General Counsel

Elizabeth Stairs is Vice President and General Counsel of Honeywell Process Solutions. Prior to assuming her current role, she was General Counsel for the Honeywell Chemicals and the Honeywell Nylon businesses located in Morristown, N.J. In these roles, she had global responsibility for leading the legal and government relations affairs of these businesses. 

Stairs joined Honeywell in 1999 as the Assistant General Counsel for Films & Plastics. Prior to joining Honeywell, she was an associate with the New York law firm of Shearman & Sterling and also worked for the Toronto law firm of McCarthy Tétrault. 

She earned a Masters in Law degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Windsor Law School (Canada).  Her Honeywell training includes completion of the Honeywell-sponsored Management Development Program and Six Sigma Green Belt certification. She is based at Honeywell Process Solutions headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona.

Henri Tausch
Vice President/General Manager, Honeywell Field Solutions

Henri Tausch is the Vice President/General Manager of Honeywell Field Solutions (HFS) and is responsible for global HFS leadership, developing strategic alliances, relationships, joint ventures, and acquisitions. Tausch is also responsible for ensuring strong Honeywell customer satisfaction and as well as assuming executive sponsorship of select key accounts. 

Tausch joined Honeywell in 1988 in the Netherlands and has held numerous roles in sales, services and engineering, including Latin America sales director, global business director for pulp and paper, and business integration leader for the Enraf acquisition.

Tausch holds a master's of science degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University, Eindhoven, The Netherlands. 

Frank Whitsura
Vice President/General Manager, Americas

Frank Whitsura was named Vice President/General Manager of the Americas for Honeywell Process Solutions in 2007. He previously served as General Manager for the South Region of the U.S., responsible to for all sales, service and project execution.

Prior to joining Honeywell in 2004, Whitsura spent 23 years at UOP where he held a variety of positions. At UOP, he managed the Mechanical Design, Platforming and the FCC groups. In 1996, he became the Business Director for Naphtha Technologies in Refining, responsible for all licensing, services, products and equipment associated with Platforming and Isomerization technologies. He later served as the General Manager of engineering, in which he oversaw worldwide staff and operations. His last role at UOP was Vice President of New Business Development.Whitsura has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is based in Houston.
