HONEYWELL TECHNOLOGY SELECTED TO HELP RIO TINTO ALCAN INCREASE ALUMINA PRODUCTION

BRISBANE, Australia, Sept. 2, 2008 – Honeywell’s (NYSE:HON) Process Solutions business has been selected to upgrade and expand process control systems at Rio Tinto Alcan’s Yarwun alumina refinery in Queensland, Australia. This project is part of the Yarwun Refinery expansion, which will increase smelter-grade alumina production at the plant from 1.4 million to 3.4 million tons per year by 2011.

HONEYWELL TO DESIGN INTEGRATED CONTROL SYSTEM FOR WESTERN AUSTRALIA’S NEWEST LNG PLANT

PERTH, Western Australia, Jan. 10, 2008 – Honeywell (NYSE:HON) today announced a contract to provide the integrated control system for Woodside’s new Pluto liquefied natural gas (LNG) Project in Western Australia. The project, based on Woodside’s Pluto gas field north west of Karratha, is Western Australia’s first new LNG plant in more than 20 years. It is expected to produce 4.3 million tons of LNG per year.
